This worksheet gives an overview of the project model for resource-sharing clusters developed in HACT’s Collaborate resource sharing pilot project. It is a brief introduction to the concept of a cluster, and some of the key stages in the process of designing and delivering a resource sharing initiative. The rest of the worksheets in this toolkit go into more detail on each of the different aspects dealt with here.
The overall structure of the HACT pilot project was based on the SWiM (Sharing Without Merging) project developed by Bassac, and benefited heavily from the lessons learnt during SWiM’s pilot phase. We are grateful for Bassac’s permission to draw on the learning from SWiM in developing our pilot programme and this microsite.
